On a whim when Rekha was out on a trip, she decided to bring back some of the most beautiful handcrafted faux jewellery to sell in Bombay. That was the beginning for us (Miloni and Rekha the mother daughter duo) to conceptualize and bring Ghanthan Jewels to life. From there on after umpteen exhibitions we realized our heart was not only in selling the jewellery but making it and customizing it for our customers.
Now for a decade we, at Ghanthan Jewels, have been handcrafting our jewellery to perfection. Our focus has always been on the end product to create a finishing that makes the jewellery look like a replica of the real ones while providing them to our customers at the most competitive price as possible. With our patience to understand the market and our customers, we have honed and perfected the style statement Ghanthan Jewels follows today.
“Ghanthan”, when translated to English, simply means knots.
Our name signifies the knots made from brass wires that join two beads together in the jewellery. And our logo, which is our version of the eternal knot, symbolizes the more important knot; it’s the knot of compassion that ties us to our customers and our customers to us eternally.
